LATEST NEWS: Coach Kalen DeBoer of Alabama football is closing in on the inaugural team members of the Crimson Tide.

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama: According to reports, Alabama football filled the final two spots on its offensive staff on Monday. Multiple reports state that Bryan Ellis, the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Georgia Southern, will take over as tight ends coach on Kalen DeBoer’s first staff, while Chris Kapilovic, the offensive line coach at Baylor, is slated to assume the same role.

Scott Huff, who joined Ryan Grubb on the coaching staff of the Seattle Seahawks, is being replaced by Kapilovic, while Ellis is stepping in to fill the hole created by Nick Sheridan’s anticipated promotion from tight ends coach to offensive coordinator/quarterbacks, taking Grubb’s place.

These appointments come after Alabama officially announced last week that running backs coach Robert Gillespie was elevated to assistant head coach and defensive line coach Freddie Roach to associate head coach.
