The son of a Montgomery, Alabama, judge who was found guilty in 2014 of killing someone else is said to have shot the judge on Saturday, leaving him in critical condition.
After a domestic fight, Johnny Hardwick, the sitting judge of Montgomery County’s 15th Judicial Circuit, is said to have been shot and assaulted by his 36-year-old son, Khalfani A. Hardwick, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was called to Judge Johnny Hardwick’s home at around 1:00 p.m. in relation to a domestic altercation, according to the police.
