As part of a plan Tigers manager Justin Pascoe said was intended to get “Wests Tigers DNA surging through the club,” Marshall, 38, was initially expected to succeed Tim Sheens in 2025. However, he will now step into the legendary coach’s shoes ahead of schedule after the team announced on Wednesday that Sheens would step down by “mutual agreement” at the end of this season.
