During his first trip to Tennessee, Javonte Smith went to his first Neyland Stadium game in late September. After just a few days on campus, the Vols made a lasting impact on him and offered him his first scholarship.

The Class of 2026 wide receiver from Jackson, Tennessee’s North Side High School received an early offer from the Commodores during their visit to Vanderbilt last month. After just his second season, his stature is still growing, and interest in him is already being shown by at least a few of other big schools.
As early as this spring, the 6-foot-1, 160-pound Smith expressed his desire to return to Tennessee. He mentioned that he’s eagerHe was interested in finding out more about the programme and found the Vols’ initial visit to Knoxville to be rather informative.
