Decades after reporting his wife an Alabama man was arrested

The husband of an Alabama lady who was discovered dead more than 20 years ago has been charged with murder, according to a statement released by the Dothan Police Department on Monday.
On December 30, 2001, Sharon Mills, then 49 years old, was reported missing by her husband, Dwight Mills. A month later, the Dothan Police Department reported that her body was found in Holmes County, just across the Florida state line.
After the police declared they had run out of leads, the inquiry came to a standstill.
Following the arrest, the victim’s daughter, Angel Faulk, stated at a press conference, “This is a day we’ve been praying for for 22 years….
