According to Tom Curran of NBC Sports Boston, that could be the case.
In an interview with The Rich Eisen Show this week, Curran mentioned that there’s a possibility the Patriots would stick with Jones as a bridge quarterback for the upcoming year.
Curran remarked, “He actually had a game against the Buffalo Bills not too long ago where he brought the team back to win, 29-25, so there’s a quarterback in there.” “That quarterback in there is capable of playing.”
