At Food City Centre on Thursday, Tennessee (17-10, 10-5 SEC) defeated Texas A&M (18-10, 6-9 SEC) 75-66.
At the break, the Lady Vols were up, 36–29.
For Tennessee, Jewel Spear finished with 16 points, three assists, two steals, and six rebounds, while Rickea Jackson finished with 27 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
The win made up for the Aggies’ 71-56 defeat on January 14 at Reed Arena in College Station, Texas.
For Tennessee, Tamari Key finished with nine points, seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Tess Darby scored seven points and pulled down six rebounds.
Sara Puckett finished with six points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal for the Lady Vols, who outrebounded Texas A&M, 45-29, in the contest.
