“He’s come and fit the bill, he’s done absolutely superbly. The upturn in form has correlated with him being in the side.
“The pre-Christmas form – the one win in nine – I think you can probably lay a lot on George Hirst’s injury and not having a like-for-like replacement.
“(Kayden) Jackson and (Freddie) Ladapo – unfortunately – aren’t the mould of striker that we need as a team, and their quality doesn’t quite match with where the team wants to be.
“Five goals in seven games, an assist, and his link up play has been fantastic. He also works off the ball and occupies other defenders, which allows space for others.
“(Conor) Chaplin and (Nathan) Broadhead have played well, and Wes Burns is back among the goals, which I think Moore has had a lot to do with.
“If he is available, I think it would be great, that experienced player alongside Hirst, that could be quite a potent front two – we should definitely look to explore it.”
