Russell Wilson’s costly and fruitless tenure in Denver has come to an early end as the Broncos have announced that they would be cutting the quarterback off their roster.
The Broncos general manager George Paton and coach Sean Payton released a statement together that stated, “We spoke with Russell Wilson today to inform him of his release after the start of the league year [which starts] next Wednesday.”
