The Boston Celtics and the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets will play two preseason games in Abu Dhabi in October, the league said on Wednesday.
The third NBA Abu Dhabi Games will take place on October 4 and 6. The Nuggets, who are headed by two-time MVP Nikola Jokic, and the Celtics, who are captained by five-time All-Star Jayson Tatum, will play each other.
Boston was defeated in the last round of the playoffs by Boston last June, while Denver defeated the Miami Heat to win their first NBA title in the team’s 47-year existence.
