JUST IN: Ipswich to accept £7m Ellis Simms transfer exit to coventry as Sean Dyche plots replacement signing – BBC pundit to….
Carlton Palmer claims that Everton may need to get £7 million from Ipswich in exchange for Ellis Simms’ departure so that Sean Dyche can buy a Premier League-caliber replacement.
The manager of the Toffees is reportedly willing to let go of the striker this summer, and the Championship team is interested in him and “have money” for a deal.
Palmer, though, thinks a trade won’t happen unless enough cash is offered to support the recruitment of a player who is ready for the top flight. The 22-year-old did well during his season-long loan at Sunderland in the second division.
“It is believed that Ipswich Town has had an increased offer of £4 million turned down for the player Simms,” Football League World commentator Palmer from the BBC stated.
