St. Louis Blues: Craig Berube A Look Back And The Look Ahead

 

Forward Zach Dean has been called up from the St. Louis Blues’ AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds, according to a statement made today by General Manager and President of Hockey Operations Doug Armstrong.

With 47 appearances for the Thunderbirds this season, Dean, 21, has accrued 13 points (eight goals, five assists) and 24 penalty minutes.

Over the course of his four seasons with the Gatineau Olympiques in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), the Grande Prairie, Alberta native scored 188 points (82 goals, 106 assists) in 177 regular-season games.

On February 26, 2023, Dean was traded to the Blues by the Vegas Golden Knights. In the first round of the 2021 NHL Draft, the Golden Knights selected him with the 30th overall pick.
