The 2023 USA Men’s Select Team, led by Orlando Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley, will practice under the USA Basketball Men’s National Team in anticipation of the 2023 FIBA Men’s World Cup, which will take place in Manila from August 25 to September 10.
Eleven active NBA players and three veteran players with NBA, NBA G League, international, and USA Basketball experience make up the USA Select Team’s roster. From August 3–6, in Las Vegas, members of the USA Select Team will train daily alongside the USA Men’s National Team.
Mosley assisted with coaching the USA Basketball Men’s National Team mini-camp in 2018 and the USA Select Team in 2021. He’ll be accompanied to the bench.

In the head coach of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) FC, Abubakar Ibrahim, Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) return leg qualifier against Guinea-Bissau is scheduled to take place on Monday evening at Estádio 24 de Setembro.
According to the DAILY POST, Guinea-Bissau defeated Nigeria 1-0 last Friday at the Abuja National Stadium in the rematch.
After three games, Jose Peseiro’s team is now one point behind leaders Guinea-Bissau in the AFCON qualifying Group A rankings.
