Perreault is third among freshmen and fourth overall in Hockey East conference scoring. The 18-year-old forward has 36 points (10 goals, 26 assists) in 20 Hockey East games. He is second among rookies and third overall with 26 assists.
Overall, Perreault has 50 points (15 goals, 35 assists) in 30 NCAA games this season. He’s tied for sixth in the nation in scoring, seven points behind BC teammate Will Smith, and is third averaging 1.67 points per game.
It’s been a big year for Perreault, who helped Boston College win the Hockey East regular-season championship. BC is considered one of the favorites to reach the NCAA Frozen Four, with Selection Sunday for the tournament four days away.
Perreault also helped the United States win the gold medal at the 2024 World Junior Championship in Sweden. He tied for second on the U.S. and fourth overall in scoring with 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in seven games.
