The Washington Commanders are making moves and noise in their coaching search….

According to NFL Network insider Ian the Commanders are signing Seattle All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner to a deal. Wagner and new head coach Dan Quinn worked together when the latter was Seattle’s defensive coordinator from 2013-14.  Add another former Dallas Cowboys to the list of players signing with the Washington Commanders.

This time, it was another pass rusher, as defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. agreed to a deal with the Commanders, according to Bleacher Report insider Jordan Schultz. Fowler Jr. had four sacks last season and in his two years in Dallas with Commanders head coach Dan Quinn as his defensive coordinator, he had 10 sacks. He also briefly played for Quinn in his final season as the Atlanta Falcons’ head coach before he was fired five games into the 2020 season.

The Washington Commanders are adding one of the best linebackers in the NFL.

With the signing of Fowler Jr., he becomes the third former Cowboys to sign with the Commanders. Washington also signed defensive end Armstrong Jr. and Tyler on Monday. The Washington Commanders are welcoming one of the league’s best pass rushers to the NFC East.

According to NFL Network insider Ian the New York Giants are acquiring Carolina Panthers defensive end Brian Burns for a second- and fifth-round pick.
