For the seventh consecutive year, the men’s basketball team from College of Idaho has advanced to the NAIA national championship Sweett      4 p.m. Mountain time on Friday, the third-ranked Yotes will play No. 14 Madonna (Mich.) at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. The Crusaders (27-6) advanced to the Round of 16 for the first time in program history after winning the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference regular-season championship and defeating Shawnee State 81-78.

The J.A. Albertson Activities Center in Caldwell played host to first- and second-round tournament games last weekend for College of Idaho (30-3), the reigning national champion. The Yotes advanced by defeating Cornerstone 74-62 on Saturday after defeating Jessup 104-73 on Friday
