Elliot Michella’s race against time to be fit for the Challenge Cup semi-final could be going in his direction if Hull KR’s latest social media post is anything to go by. Minchella is one of several Rovers players who are touch and go for Sunday’s semi-final, with the energetic forward trying to overcome a back injury.
The loose forward was given a two to six-week recovery time but given he is at the very beginning of that timescale, there was an acceptance that getting Minchella on the field at Headingley would be a long shot.
However, it appears Minchella is doing everything in his power to get the all-clear and the sight of him in action at Craven Park midweek certainly builds some hope of his potential availability later in the week…..
