The Secret Scout claims that United is closing on a deal for the child. All of the elite Premier League teams have been keeping an eye on Mexes while he was at Ipswich, but it appears he will decide to sign with Manchester United this summer. Mexes’ choice may be significantly influenced by Kieran McKenna, the manager of Ipswich at the moment and a former Ole Gunnar Solskjaer assistant coach at United. This season, he has already recruited Axel Tuanzebe and Brandon Williams from the United Academy to Ipswich.
