Michigan Wolverines defensive line coach Greg Scruggs has resigned from his position with the program following his arrest on an charge, head coach Moore said in a statement Thursday.
“I just received notice that Greg Scruggs has resigned his position, effective immediately,” Moore said, per Zach Shaw of CBS and 247Sports. “I am unable to comment further as this is a University matter.”
Scruggs was hired by Michigan this month to join a revamped defensive coaching staff for the Wolverines under Moore, who was hired as head coach after Jim became head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers in January.
