The Bills have made an addition to their secondary. Safety Mike Edwards has signed a one-year deal with Buffalo.

 

Edwards felt like Buffalo was the right next step in his career due to their culture and staff.

“The culture, the coaching staff, they sold me very well,” Edwards said. “(It’s) safety-friendly. The two guys they had were phenomenal over the past seven years. So, I felt like I could come in and take on that role and try to get better and try to improve every week.”

Edwards most recently played for Kansas City where he recorded one interception, five passes defensed, two fumble recoveries, one fumble recovery for a touchdown and 51 total tackles in 17 games, including five starts.

The safety believes several factors separate him from others at the position.
