New Kentucky Wildcats head coach Mark Pope has done quite a bit to endear himself to Big Blue Nation, including an electric press conference and garnering the support of former players and coaches.

However, he still has quite a bit of work to do to put together a roster in Lexington that is capable of competing in the SEC. With most of the roster transferring out, and the majority of John Calipari’s incoming recruiting class already decommitting, Pope will need to use the transfer portal to rebuild at nearly every position ahead of the 2024-25 season.
