even though they haven’t played a single minute of professional sports since the league’s formal 2021 approval of this practice. Former NFL players Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco recently commented on this issue, which has become quite popular.
Ochocinco specifically discussed the role NIL transactions had in veteran Alabama football head coach Nick Saban’s resignation. The former wide receiver even went so far as to claim that Saban resigned because NIL deals even the playing field in the recruiting process on an episode of the Nightcap programme.
