RB Bo Scarbrough of the Birmingham Stallions, formerly of Alabama, announces his retirement…
sprinting back Bo Scarbrough, who left Alabama after winning two national titles and went on to win back-to-back USFL championships with the Birmingham Stallions, has announced his retirement from the NFL.
Scarbrough stated, “You can love this game all you want, but at the end of the day, the game can’t love you back because it’s not a person; it’s a ball,” according to a news release from the UFL. “I have so much respect for the people still playing.”
Head of Football Operations for the UFL Daryl Johnston stated, “We were fortunate to have Bo as a part of our football family.” Both on and off the pitch, he is a champion. He is a superb representative of Alabama as a whole and of his town. Our hope
