NFLPA's 2024 report card proves Steelers are stuck in the past | Yardbarker

Owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers Art Rooney II was given a failing grade on the 2024 NFLPA Report Card, which was made public by the NFLPA on Wednesday.

On the yearly Report Card, Rooney is one of three owners that get a F or below. The Arizona Cardinals’ Michael Bidwill was also given an F, and the Clark Hunt-led ownership group of the Kansas City Chiefs was given an F-.

As he comes in second to last in this year’s report, club owner Art Rooney II’s desire to invest in a better workplace is not well-regarded by respondents, according to the Report Card.

After his father, Dan Rooney, passed away in 2017, Rooney, 71, became the owner of the Steelers. Since 2003, he has been the team president; before that,The NFLPA revealed its 2024 Report Card on Wednesday, and owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Art Rooney II, earned a failing grade.

Three owners received a F or below on the yearly Report Card, including Rooney. The Kansas City Chiefs’ ownership group, led by Clark Hunt, was given an F-grade, while Michael Bidwill of the Arizona Cardinals was also given an F.

The assessment Card reads, “As he ranks second to last in this year’s report, there is little confidence among respondents in the willingness of club owner Art Rooney II to invest in a better workplace.”
